and it seems like each day is a new adventure. This month she has reached many new miles stones. First off check out the pigtails! Are they the cutest thing or what? Miss Mary, one of her teachers, loves doing her hair, I was tickled pink when I picked her up from school one day and she had pigtails. Love the swooping bangs too! She began sitting up on her own. She is still a little wobbly and when playing with her toys she still needs her boppy around her since she gets a little too carried away

swinging her arms. She is really into her toys now too. She has so many now they fill a basket in the living room. She knows that the basket is hers and that makes her so excited! I got her the ladybug she is playing with in the picture. The wings are crinklely and each of the legs makes a different noise like a rattle or bell. It's

also a book. It's belly opens up to tell a cute little story. This is what got us through our first church service. We weren't sure how she'd do but as long as she had her butterfly she was happy. When she plays with her toys she likes them to be in the basket so she can take them out. She sits and looks them all over and then reaches in for the one she wants. Once she has pulled them all out she is done, but if we put them all back in she is good to go all over again. She has been discovering the textures of her toys too, like the duck in the basket has fur on his head and she carefully holds him in one hand while she rubs his hair between two fingers delicately with her other hand. It's amazing to watch her discovering

things. She has also found out how much fun her dogs are.
We have two dogs Maddie, a dashound, and Rudy, the Golden Retriever she is playing with. He loves her so much and is very gentle with her. He comes over to her when she us on the floor playing and slowly lays down next to her and waits for her to notice him. He loves the attention and is just

as excited about her as she is about him. This month he come over to the bed one morning and as I held her she reached over and pet him gently between the eyes and that was the beginning of their friendship! She has now started crossing her feet when she is relaxing, it the cutest thing to see her kicked back with those cute little feet crossed she also does it when she is on the floor

playing on her belly. She just lays there playing while rubbing her feet together. Isn't that little diaper butt just the cutest? I love those chunky thighs too!!! She has become mighty noisy too. She has to let everyone know she's around. If she gets too quiet she's probably doing something she shouldn't! She began the scoot on September 30th, her 5th month Birthday. She saw the cell phone and took off. The cell phone and the controller really get her going. Oh and the dogs too! She loves going after them, but they are still too fast, just little longer and they'll be wishing they could run faster!!

She loves too eat too!! We began baby food after her four month check up and she couldn't be happier! My girl loves to eat, like mother like daughter! This is what diner consists of: first she begins with an appetizer; she enjoys her yummy toes while I gather the main course. She has a jar of a vegetables and about a half a jar of fruit and a six ounce bottle. She doesn't really have any favorite; she has liked everything I've given her. So far she has had bananas, applesauce, mango, guava, peaches, pears, carrots, sweet potatoes, and tropical fruit. She has been holding her own bottle too! She is very curios about what we are eating too. She wants to see and try as much as she can, especially if her daddy is eating it, then she has to have it or the grunting begins! She usually eats around 6:30 and then snacks on our dinner too. She gets her bath around 7:30 and

another bottle while we read a book around 8:30 and then she is off to bed. If she doesn't fall asleep while eating we put her in her crib with her passy and she rolls over and goes to sleep. She is such a great

sleeper. She will sleep through the night till about 6:30 when she wakes up just as happy as ever! Oh this is her new thing to do in the car. As soon as the car starts she grabs the sides of the car seat. By the looks of her you'd think I'm a bad driver or something?! But I promise I'm not, she's just a scaredy cat like her daddy. She doesn't like to be up high or spin or go to fast. So, like her daddy, I guess she will not be riding all those scary roller coasters and spinning rides I love! Figures since she is so much like him in everything!! Well thank you Jill for the best five months ever, Daddy and I enjoy every minute and look forward to all your future adventures and discoveries!!
